Tweet ThisPope Benedict XVI's general intention for August 2009 is: "That public opinion may be more aware of the problem of millions of displaced persons and refugees and that concrete solutions may be found for their often tragic situation."
His
missionary intention is: "That those Christians who are discriminated against and persecuted in many Countries because of the name of Christ may have their human rights, equality and religious freedom recognized, in order to be able to live and profess their own faith freely."

Religious Freedom.
It is ashame that with all the advances we as a human race have made, that we have not all been allowed this right.
Every opportunity the Pope, and us as individuals has, to bring this to the forefront shoudl be taken.
Those who have a “voice” should use it for good. For spreading the word, and advocating for all humankind to be allowed to practice their faith outloud!
