I live in Granite City, IL (a suburb of St. Louis) & love God, my wife Suzanne, my 4 sons, my family & friends, & music. I’m a music director at Holy Family Church, where Suzanne and I grew up and where my own family is now active. I read, write, travel, garden, and play the keyboard, piano, and pipe organ.

I love being in the outdoors. When I was younger, I enjoyed working 9 summers on staff at our boy scout camps, ranging in roles from first year camper program director to ecology director to trading post manager, and even starting a brand new program area, tech arts, teaching computers & Internet, photography, cinematography, journalism, communications, graphic design, and more – many of the same areas covered by the company I now work for, Adobe Systems. I worked on staff at several national events, including the 1992 through 2006 National Order of the Arrow Conferences (NOACs), including two theme show cast appearances, two years as assistant theme show director, a year as technical director, and the honor of having written one NOAC theme show. In addition, I worked on staff at the OA-produced show at the National Jamborees in 1997, 2001, and 2005.

As of 2012, I’m back involved in scouting as a cub scout leader with my sons, and am again serving the Order of the Arrow on the national level as the volunteer adviser for analytics on the national communications & technology subcommittee.

By day, I am a manager in Adobe Consulting, where I manage the Adobe business consultants serving retail & travel clients and lead innovation in the development of the Adobe Consulting business consulting practice and the cross-training and development of consultants across the Adobe Digital Marketing Suite.

My career has been focused on encouraging, creating & measuring digital experiences. I started my career as an on-air talent and the online director at three radio stations in St. Louis, then moved on to start my own dotcom. Later, after three years as a senior interactive project manager at St. Louis’s largest media production facility, I spent three years at ad agency Rodgers Townsend, responsible for strategy & execution of digital marketing programs for AT&T and Anheuser Busch.

I have been honored with several regional and national Addy Award recognitions and multiple DMA Arrow Awards. I architected & produced one of Marketing Sherpa’s 2006 “Top 12 Viral Sites of the Year” and produced a 2005 microsite for charity Network For Good that drove a 400% increase in donation levels during a holiday period following a devastating tsunami, when extreme donor fatigue was expected.

In my years as a contributor in Adobe Consulting, I served as a Sr. Consultant & team lead, was involved in some of the most innovative and successful new uses of Adobe Insight, and presented at the 2010-2012 Adobe Digital Marketing Summits. Adobe client engagements with successful innovation and bottom-line results included Redbox, Best Buy, Target, Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Staples, Scottrade and Walt Disney Parks & Resorts Online. I was recognized with the Adobe Team Customer Service Success Award, Global Client Services Top Achiever Award, and was part of the team that won the 2011 CEO’s $100k Innovation Challenge for the most innovative solution created within Adobe in 2011.

Today, I transfer that experience and passion into helping manage, grow and foster my team’s success.
